This Book Hopes to Restore Spiritual Blessings Over the White House
The author warns of the danger of omitting God from national politics
A great political battle for the White House took place in 2012. That political battle for our nation continues. The soul of the nation–whether we will be under God’s Providence or under man’s limited human understanding, is at stake. Key personalities, parties, and platforms all jockey for position. But in addition, for those who can see with spiritual discernment, a gift only of the Holy Spirit ( 1 Corinthians 12: 10) an on-going spiritual battle for the White House, for Congress, for our Statehouses, and for our nation’s Liberty is unfolding. This is taking place because of the acts—intended or unintended—by recent Presidents, including President Obama. In April, 2009 when he bowed deeply, almost fawningly, to the King of Saudi Arabia what Scripture from the Old testament was triggered? Was it Exodus 20: 4 “you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.” ? And what Scripture from the New Testament was triggered? Was it Ephesians 6:12 ” For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” ?
And what were those other acts by other earlier Presidents? Is this country’s ongoing debacle directly a result of not honoring the Living God who was publicly honored by our founders? Is this battle similar to 9/11 and those on United Flight 93 who stopped the plane with spiritual terrorists headed for the White House?
Most important, how can you and I today participate with the living God to gain His victory in this battle?
Our Founding Fathers knew about spiritual battles. Through prayer and repentance they publicly invoked the living God and obtained His Providence, giving a miracle birth to our land of Liberty.
Why aren’t we doing that now?
These are the themes of The Spiritual Battle for the White House by Christian attorney/pastor Jeff Daly.
