“The Spiritual Battle for the White House” is the first of several books that Jeff hopes to write on God’s role in restoring our nation. His most recent book is “Repentance: God’s Strategy to Bless a Nation.” At the moment Jeff acts as the executive director for a nonprofit organization publicizing a project called “National Day of Repentance.” The goal of that nonprofit organization is to provide information and to encourage participation in grassroots events focusing on repentance. The Living God tells us that participants will experience personal and national restoration, following Leviticus 23:27-28, Isaiah 44:22, Hebrews 12:1, and Revelation 3:19-21 when we turn from our human ways and repent, seeking to follow His path of purity. Each year the Day of Repentance is set to coincide with the traditional Jewish Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. God willing, for 2013 the Day of Repentance—at the grassroots in churches and homes all over the nation and in other nations— will begin at sundown, September 13, 2013, and will extend to sunset September 14, 2013. Additionally, days of repentance are set for April 30, 2013 ( focusing on the 225th anniversary of President Washington’s call for Divine help on our nation) and on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2013.
