Scripture: For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. -Prov. 2:6
Prayer: We come before Your throne of grace with confidence, and we seek You in this time of need. Thank You that your ear is open to the cry of the righteous and that You release rewards in response to our intercession.
Right now dear God we want to bring the financial crisis before your attention. Together we are asking for wisdom from heaven. You know all things and all things are held together by the breath of Your Presence. Your word says, ‘When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness,’ and also, ‘righteousness exalts a nation.’ According to your word we ask that you would bring course corrections and policy re-directions that are in line with your will.
Together we ask you for a release of revelation that will dig up the root of the structural problems. We are asking You to grant the appointed pieces of information that will be constructive, and we bind back confusion, fear, personal agendas, blame shifting and disunity.
Lord send wisdom that will give insight on the sequence of next steps, which actions to take and a keen sense of timing for implementation.
We declare your word that says, ‘the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.’
Lord we ask You to release the help of your angels now in Jesus name. And we ask that the plans implemented would serve your purposes and be founded on truth and justice. Your word says, ‘Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.’ We call to the table all the counsel that is required at this time; be with those whom You have appointed as Daniels and Josephs in the midst of this crisis, so righteous leadership can forge a pathway that You can bless. In Jesus name.
